Shaikh Abdul-Ameer Al-Jamri was not an ordinary cleric, but he was an authentic Islamic scholar. He, Al-Jamri, did not live his life for himself, but he lived it for others. He lived his life for the people of Bahrain; spent majority of his time listening and addressing people’s problems and difficulties. Even when the years caught up with him and he no longer had that strong youthful body; everyone thought, especially the Al-Khalifa government, that he no longer going to fight for the people’s right in Bahrain. However, he did the opposite and became even more aggressive in his demands that Bahrain should be governed by its’ constitution. He was the lion that scared his enemies and defended his people. May God bless your soul till we meet you in the Day of Judgment. You are definitely going to be missed.
