There are reports that prison authorities have been pressuring prisoners to end their hunger strike, through threats, solitary confinement and suspension of privileges.

‎In solidarity with the hunger strike of the prisoners of conscience, 5 BYSHR members are currently on a 3 day hunger strike. Activists and family members have also shown support by observing a 3 day hunger strike set to end on Thursday morning.

The BYSHR calls on the international community to show their solidarity with the Bahrain prisoners of conscience by calling for their immediate release.
